CVDKHypernova Guilloché Black
The CVDK Hypernova Guilloché Black combines a full chronograph with calendar functions, a day/night indication and a Super-LumiNova moon phase. Its black guilloché dial gives the watch a more graphic and nocturnal character, while luminous accents maintain clarity after dark within the 44 mm stainless steel case.
A darker expressionof the Hypernova
The Hypernova brings together a remarkably broad set of indications within a dial that remains balanced and legible. On this black version, the guilloché pattern creates a subtle play of light across the surface, while the lighter indexes and luminous elements stand out more sharply.
This darker execution also changes the character of the astronomical display. The moon phase at 6 o’clock and the luminous hour markers become especially pronounced in low light, giving the watch a distinctly different presence between day and night.

Specifications
The Hypernova combines hours and minutes with small seconds, day/night indication, day, date and month. It also incorporates a full chronograph with elapsed seconds, a 30-minute counter and a 12-hour counter, alongside a moon phase display at 6 o’clock.

Chronograph & Moon Phase
The Hypernova combines several practical indications with a distinctly astronomical display. The chronograph measures elapsed time through a central seconds hand, a 30-minute counter and a 12-hour counter, while the dial also integrates day, date, month and day/night information.
At 6 o’clock, the Super-LumiNova moon phase shows the progress of the lunar cycle. When the Moon appears to the left of centre, it is in its first quarter; in the centre, it is full Moon; and to the right, it is in its last quarter. When the Moon is not visible, the display has reached new Moon.
The Hypernova after dark
The luminous elements of the Hypernova give the watch a second identity once the light fades. Selected hour markers, the hands and the moon phase remain visible, preserving legibility and reinforcing the astronomical atmosphere of the display.
On the black guilloché dial, this effect becomes even more pronounced. The contrast between the dark surface and the glowing indications gives the moon phase and time display a clear, almost floating appearance at night.

Made in theCVDK atelier
The CVDK atelier produces only a limited number of watches each year, allowing every watch to receive the attention its construction and finishing require. Each watch is assembled by hand, subjected to extensive quality testing and delivered in a dedicated CVDK presentation box with a three-year warranty on the movement and case.

Collection ofthe Stars
The Collection of the Stars brings together watches that combine astronomical character with broader mechanical complications, from moon phases and calendars to chronographs. Discover the collection and explore how CVDK interprets the sky in a more versatile everyday context.
