Ariadne White chronograph with a white dial, blue indexes and the moon phase at 6 o’clock

Collection of the Stars - CKAR3335

CVDKAriadne White

The CVDK Ariadne combines a full chronograph, calendar indications and a Super-LumiNova moon phase within a balanced 40 mm design. This version pairs a white dial with applied blue indexes and finely detailed counter rings, complemented by cognac ostrich foot leather and a stainless steel case.

Astronomy within aclassical chronograph

The Ariadne brings a broad range of mechanical indications together within a more compact 40 mm case. Chronograph counters, calendar functions, a 24-hour indication and moon phase are arranged across the dial while retaining a clear visual hierarchy.

On this white version, blue applied indexes and the individual counter rings give the indications definition against the lighter surface. The cognac strap introduces a warmer contrast beyond the stainless steel case.

Specifications

The Ariadne combines hours and minutes with small seconds, a 24-hour indication and a complete calendar displaying day, date and month. Its chronograph measures elapsed seconds, minutes and hours, while the moon phase at 6 o’clock adds the astronomical indication.

Chronograph & Moon Phase

The Ariadne combines a full chronograph with calendar and astronomical indications. Elapsed time is measured through seconds, a 30-minute counter and a 12-hour counter, accompanied by day, date, month and a 24-hour indication.

At 6 o’clock, the moon phase shows the progression of the lunar cycle. When the Moon appears to the left of centre, it is in its first quarter; at the centre, it is full Moon; and to the right, it is in its last quarter. When the Moon disappears, the window reveals a starry sky and indicates new Moon.

The Ariadne after dark

Super-LumiNova gives the Ariadne’s astronomical display a different character in low light. The moon phase at 6 o’clock becomes especially distinct, allowing the changing position of the Moon to remain visible after dark.

The luminous treatment adds a functional nighttime layer to a dial otherwise defined by its white surface, blue details and mechanical complexity.

Made in theCVDK atelier

The CVDK atelier produces only a limited number of watches each year, allowing every watch to receive the attention its construction and finishing require. Each watch is assembled by hand, subjected to extensive quality testing and delivered in a dedicated CVDK presentation box with a three-year warranty on the movement and case.
