This version combines the complication with a black guilloché dial, a 40 mm stainless steel case and black ostrich foot leather.

The Moon completes its orbit around Earth in 29.530588853 days. Reproducing that cycle mechanically demands an extremely precise ratio within the gear train if the lunar phase is to remain accurate over time.
