The CVDK Real Moon Joure Onyx places its three-dimensional Moon against the deep, uninterrupted black of natural Onyx. The lunar display follows the true cycle of the Moon with a deviation of only one day in 11,000 years, while a brushed 40 mm Grade 5 titanium case and grey Jeans/FKM strap give this version a distinctly contemporary character.
The Moonagainst absolute black
Black Onyx creates an unusually pure backdrop for the Real Moon Joure. Unlike dials defined by texture or sparkle, its appeal lies in a dense, almost uninterrupted black surface that allows the indexes, hands and three-dimensional Moon to stand clearly apart.
The effect is especially suited to the lunar complication. As the miniature Moon rotates, its illuminated and shadowed surfaces become increasingly pronounced against the dark stone, turning the changing moon phase into the visual focus of the dial.

The most accurate 3D moon phase
The Real Moon Joure reproduces the Moon’s approximately 29.530588853-day cycle through the rotation of a hand-made three-dimensional lunar sphere. Rather than representing the phase on a flat disc, the changing illuminated surface of the Moon itself forms the indication.
Its mechanical calculation accumulates a deviation of only one day in 11,000 years, making it the most accurate mechanical 3D moon phase in the world. The complication was recognised in 2014 when the Real Moon Joure was unanimously awarded European Watch of the Year by an international jury in London.
