The CVDK Real Moon Joure brings exceptional lunar precision into a restrained white gold execution. Its rotating three-dimensional Moon follows the true lunar cycle with a deviation of only one day in 11,000 years, presented against a white guilloché dial with blue indexes. A 40 mm white gold case and black ostrich foot leather strap complete the composition.
Precision inlight and shadow
The Real Moon Joure translates the lunar cycle into a physical three-dimensional display. Rather than indicating the phase on a conventional disc, a miniature Moon rotates within the dial, allowing light and shadow to reveal its changing appearance.
Here, the complication is surrounded by white guilloché and white gold. The finely patterned dial catches the light through texture, while blue indexes introduce a clear accent around the lunar display.

The Moon completes its cycle around Earth in approximately 29.530588853 days. The Real Moon Joure reproduces that period mechanically through a hand-made three-dimensional Moon whose rotating surface reveals the changing lunar phase.
The mechanism deviates by only one day in 11,000 years, making it the most accurate mechanical 3D moon phase in the world. Its combination of astronomical precision and mechanical ingenuity was recognised when the Real Moon Joure received the European Watch of the Year award in 2014.
