The CVDK Real Moon Joure combines its exceptionally precise three-dimensional moon phase with the warmth of an 18 ct rose gold case. A hand-made miniature Moon follows the true lunar cycle with a deviation of only one day in 11,000 years, set against a white guilloché dial and paired with black ostrich foot leather.
A classical settingfor the Moon
The white guilloché dial gives the Real Moon Joure a finely structured surface, while the rose gold case introduces a warmer frame around the astronomical display. Blue indexes provide a restrained contrast across the lighter dial.
At the centre of the complication, a three-dimensional Moon rotates through its lunar cycle. Its changing illuminated surface provides a direct mechanical representation of the phases we observe from Earth.

The Moon completes its cycle around Earth in approximately 29.530588853 days. The Real Moon Joure reproduces this period through the rotation of a hand-made three-dimensional Moon, allowing the lunar phase to be read directly from its illuminated surface.
Its mechanical calculation is precise enough to deviate by only one day in 11,000 years. This makes the Real Moon Joure the most accurate mechanical 3D moon phase in the world, a complication recognised with the European Watch of the Year award in 2014.
